Are you interested in animation and filmmaking?  Have you ever wondered how Walt Disney’s smash-hits are made?
Join us in a virtual storytelling masterclass hosted by Walt Disney Animation Studies with “Raya and the Last Dragon” writers Qui Nguyen and Adele Lim, along with head of story, Fawn Veerasunthorn.  “Raya and the Last Dragon” is largely inspired by Southeast Asia with Vietnamese American actress Kelly Marie Tran voicing the lead role.

This masterclass will focus on how writers and story artists work together to create an animated film, and how filmmakers’ connections to Southeast Asia deeply inspired the fantasy adventure feature. Introductory remarks will be delivered by Elizabeth Daly, Dean of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Time: 09:00 – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2021
Zoom link will provided shortly.

Kindly register your attendance at http://bit.ly/3aGQxZX by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021. This event will be conducted in English. Therefore, in addition to learning about filmmaking, you also have the opportunity to improve your English!
